The Parents and Grandparents Program is accepting registrations soon.
Soon, some permanent residents and citizens of Canada will be able to sponsor their parents or grandparents for permanent residence. On July 28, 2025, the federal government will begin inviting possible sponsors.Over the course of two weeks, the government will send out 17,860 invites, with the goal of receiving 10,000 completed applications this year. All prospective sponsors who filled out an interest in sponsoring form in 2020 will receive invitations.
